The last few days have been some of the most frustrating times I can remember in my recent life.
I’ve dealt with a variation of the same issue for the last five days. Every time I think the issue has been solved, a new one emerges.
Frustration.
And, the thought has been on my mind, ‘what happens when God doesn’t answer the way you hoped?’
I have come to the conclusion, it does not change the goodness of God.
Even as I’ve dealt with these frustrations, I’ve prayed three separate ‘Lord, I just need one’.. and seen Him come through in ways I cannot explain.
And, in these same frustrating moments, I’ve felt so loved and cared for by my friends, family, neighbor and church family.
I am continuing to ask what the lesson I’m supposed to take away from this.
But I can say without a shadow of a doubt: God is still good and faithful.
Friends, please lift me up in prayer. It’s been frustrating.
Dear Heavenly Father, in all things, we will give thanks, whether we get the desired outcome or not. But, in the meantime while we wait, we thank you for the ways you’ve shown up.
