As we have closed out one year and entered in a new year, I took some time to review the goals I had set for myself at the end of 2020. I by no means accomplished them all, but, I’ve made progress as I’ve taken intentional steps in the areas I set.
This morning as the thought has been on my heart, I want to remind you of a phrase and almost a command: Take the leap.
Has God laid something on your heart to do that thing that seems almost impossible to accomplish in your own strength? ‘Take the leap’. If this seems to be something that no matter how much you’ve tried to run, the thought will not go away? ‘Take the leap’
Do you worry what your friends and those close to you will say or do? God didn’t give you the instructions as a conference call – He gave it to you. ‘Take the leap’
Are you worried about how things will work out if you do it? God is asking for your mustard seed Faith – ‘take the leap’.
Why can I be so confident in telling you to ‘take the leap’? My friend shared a sermon yesterday titled ‘Do you see what I see?’ When we start looking at things the way God sees us, as opposed to the way we ourselves, we will do some things we once considered almost impossible. I can definitely relate. And friend, let me assure you that I’m not telling you that it will be easy – but I can confidently say ‘it’ll be worth it… take the leap’
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the instructions to ‘take the leap’. Help me to live with a boldness that I can do great things through you when I submit my own desires to you. Thank you for the reminder that it may not be easy – but it will be worth it.
Special shout out to my dear friend who is taking the leap to challenge herself, and couldn’t wait to read today’s post – even though she didn’t yet know the topic. Continue to take leaps darling.
