Move in Faith

This morning I laid in bed asking God what my topic was going to be. I started asking a few days ago.. silence… As the clocks went backwards this morning, I was able to wake up my usual time, but the clock indicates it’s an hour earlier. So, I debated whether to try to go back to sleep, or get up and write. Ps.. I still had nothing to share.
I was reminded of a time (quite a few times) when I had nothing to share, but I trusted God enough to get up, phone in hand (writing tool), and grab my bible. It had been a while since I did this – but this morning I chose to. As Iy started with my first devotion, I saw a sermon topic that caught my eye. I started to watch it, and realized God was answering the exact topic that I’d been struggling with the last few days.
This morning, God showed up for me multiple ways: He’s answering multiple questions/requests that I have. But the thought is occurring to me that I had to get up from what I was doing and actively seek Him. I’ve also had times when the answers seem to have found me. But this morning it is different. My assignment this morning is found in Matthew 6:33 – Seek Ye first the Kingdom of God, and all His righteousness shall be added unto you.
What are you seeking God for today?
I pray that He will guide you on where to look for your answers.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for timely reminders. Thank you that you can use just about any medium to give us what we are seeking. But more importantly, thank you for the reminder that there will be days that we simply must act in faith and do that simple thing of moving one foot in front of the other.
