Listening to my conversations

You ever get the feeling that someone is listening in on your conversations? No, I promise I’m not paranoid. But lately, I believe God has really been listening to some of my ‘private’ conversations.
I’ll give you a few examples.
On Monday, I had a conversation on correction. It wasn’t a bad conversation, it was just that, conversation. I woke up to a devotion the very next morning talking about guess what? Correction and being able to admit when you are wrong.
On Thursday, I had a conversation regarding being unable to sleep for various reasons. On Friday I woke up to a devotion entitled ‘what’s keeping you up at night’. What?
Sabbath morning, before church, my devotion was on Daniel 6 – randomly chosen. It’s where Daniel gets thrown into the Lions’ den because he chooses to continue praying to God three times a day. When I got to church, guess what the topic was for that day? Yup, you guessed it, Daniel 6, but framed in a way I’d never heard it before.
This morning, as I’ve been doubting myself, and my abilities, God sends friends to text me and remind me of what I’m doing and why.
Yup, someone is definitely listening to my conversations and my heart’s cries!
Isn’t it a wonderful feeling to be in such a situation where you know God is listening and answering sometimes before you even have a chance to call out?
Lord, thank you for your subtle and not so subtle reminders that you are a God who hears and answers our call. Thank you for continuing to provide for us in ways that we can’t even imagine before we even know we need them.
