Are you in a situation that you cannot see how it will end?
You’ve been praying and asking God for directions and it seems you might have clarity, only for the door to be closed in front of you or not even be opened.
Friends, take heart.
I’ve had two conversations in the last 24 hours of these things.
Someone very dear to me had an opportunity that sounded amazing. Twice. Everything was in works. Things were moving along, only for it to come to a screeching halt. Both times.
We’ve heard the phrase that hindsight is 20/20, and it’s so very true. But as we are going through it, it seems so frustrating.
As I was talking with this dear person and we are seeing all the things fall into place, I can’t help but thank God for her. Had the second door opened, she would have walked into two distinct and very hard situations in a foreign culture. But God saw it fit to close that door, and even though it was difficult, now we are joyous and praising God.
The second situation is another very dear person to me. The stage was set to be able to execute what had been on her heart. Instead, while she was able to accomplish an incredible feat, she was only able to take it so far. I wholeheartedly believe that God has a greater vision for what she will do with those abilities.
So, I’ll ask again.. Are you in a situation that you cannot see how it will end?
Psalm 27:13-14 states ‘I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am so grateful. Thank you for this reminder of what You can do when we trust you and wait upon you. I remain confident that I will see your goodness in the land of the living.
